Louis Tamlyn is an artist who lives and works in Paris. He grew up in the South West of France, in a beautifully isolated and preserved part of the french countryside where imagination can thrive. He graduated from Central Saint Martins in London in 2018 after studying jewellery design.
After graduating, he worked as a designer for the Parisian house of high jewellery, Van Cleef & Arpels, with previous experiences at the avant-garde fashion house Maison Margiela as well as Chanel.
His artworks convey a sense of clarity with confident lines and brushwork touched with an uplifting humorous spirit. He invites us into his world to share his vision of life seen through a coloured lens.
As an illustrator, his clients include Birkenstock, Le Monde magazine as well as some private commissions.
